This Garden Party Baby Shower Centerpiece is oh so cute. This centerpiece idea is truly versatile and can be used for a gender neutral baby shower, girl baby shower or a boy baby shower, just change out the color of the parasol. It would also be a great addition for a bridal shower. So get your supplies together and let’s make this week’s DIY centerpiece!

Let’s Get Started:

Click our affiliate links below to purchase the supplies needed for this project:

Bowl
Candlestick
Foam Cube
10 inch Parasol
Cream Hydrangea
Peach Roses
Pink Petite Foam Roses
White Petite Foam Roses
Cherry Blossom Stems
Raffia Ribbon
Tear Drop Pearl Beads
Fishing Wire

Directions:

STEP 1: Take your parasol and place the wooden end on top of your foam cube, trace around it with a black marker and then cut out the traced section with a foam cutter as this is where your parasol will be placed.

STEP 2: Now attach your Petite White Foam Roses to your foam cube.

QUICK TIP: Create a standing pedestal vase!

STEP 3: Attach your glass candlestick to your glass bowl using E6000. Be sure to weigh it down with a book or some other object and let it dry overnight.

STEP 4: Cut your raffia ribbon but don’t cut too far down as you want to leave the bottom of the grass intact. Now cut slits into your foam cube using an X-acto knife , then hot glue your raffia ribbon to your foam cube.

STEP 5:Attach 4 Small Cream Hydrangea Heads, 4-6 Cherry Blossom Stems, 6-8 White Petite Foam Roses, 4-6 Fuchsia Petite Foam Roses, and 8-10 Peach Roses.

STEP 6:Insert your Pink Parasol into the foam cube using hot glue. Then attach 2-4 Petite Roses to the top.

STEP 7:To create the pearl raindrops, attach 1 single pearl drop bead to your fishing wire. Next attach a strand to each one of the spokes on the parasol, hanging at different lengths.

THE FINAL STEP

STEP 5: Set the table!

I absolutely love how this baby shower centerpiece turned out. Thank you Ronda for allowing us to be apart of such a special time!

  1. Hello, I ordered the Parasol from Amazon, the link is under the supply list above. That particular one is no longer available :-(. However, definitely check out Amazon and your local craft store for something comparable.

  2. Hi Gladys,

The parasol are very lite in weight. They are not top heavy at all. Be sure to watch the tutorial and see how we stabilize it on the styrofoam base. Hope this helps!
    XOXO MissPlanIt
