DIY Tall Burgundy and Orange Wedding Centerpieces That Are Beyond Gorgeous

Share:

Are you stumped on what wedding color scheme to choose? If so, I want you to know you are not alone. Many brides struggle with choosing a color scheme with which they will be happy. Today’s request came from a bride-to-be who was unsure how to pair colors representing her and her fiance’s cultures. Yes, some cultures want certain colors and certain looks for their wedding. After much research, she finally decided on a burgundy and orange wedding color scheme as the primary colors. And I must tell you, this wedding color combo is beyond gorgeous and brings the two cultures together!

The wedding centerpieces I made for her in today’s tutorial truly show the beauty of these vibrant colors. Also, when I look at these colors together, I immediately think of the fall season. Yes, ladies, these wedding centerpieces will look amazing if you are planning a fall wedding.  I love using Dollar Tree items in every tutorial if I can. This is to help you save money on your wedding! And for today’s project, I purchased $1 Ranunculus Flowers from my local Dollar Tree to add to this wedding centerpiece. So, let’s get started!

How To Make Burgundy and Orange Wedding Centerpieces

SUPPLIES:

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: For extra hold, use the rim of your tall pilsner vase to make an indention in your 6 inch foam. Now apply hot glue to the vase rim and attach the foam ball.

TIP: In the next few steps, you will attach your leaf stems and flowers. This wedding centerpiece is all about layering. You accomplish this by using various stem lengths. I used stem lengths from 6 inches to 14 inches. So, take your time and cut the stem lengths that will create your desired centerpiece shape!

STEP 2: Next, insert 4-6 bamboo leaf stems, 8-10 white hydrangea blossoms, 8-10 dark coral blossoms into your foam ball, and 6-8 burgundy rose blossoms.

STEP 3: Lastly, to your foam ball attach 6-8 pink ranunculus blossoms, 6-8 Miss PlanIt ivory roses, 6-8 petite coral ranunculus blossoms, and 4-6 berry stems.

As I said before, I love this burgundy and orange wedding color combo! I also love how beautiful these wedding centerpieces turned out and I was so happy to help bring the vision that this bride-to-be has to life. While also saving her money in the process with our Dollar Tree Finds!

  1. I watched the video. You always make it look so easy. I never thought of Orange and burgundy but it works. I have no love for Orange anything but the actual flowers are beautiful. I am still trying to figure mine out but it depends when he gets here from duty overseas and what house we can get out of my favorites. I am leaning towards July or December once again.
