CORAL AND NAVY BLUE WEDDINGS ARE SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! THIS WEEK’S TUTORIAL SHOWS YOU JUST HOW TO DISPLAY THESE GORGEOUS COLORS TOGETHER USING A DIY $3 DOLLAR TREE VASE!

Hi guys!  So glad you could join me for this week’s DIY wedding project!

Today I am going to show you how beautiful Coral and Navy Blue are when paired together. These Wedding Centerpieces are not only stunning, but they are also really inexpensive to DIY with my $3 Wedding Vase Hack.

Vases for Weddings can be really expensive, so I’m always excited to show you how to get the same look for less. I will be using three Dollar Tree items to create this beautiful 20 inch Vase.  Did you catch that savings?  A 20 inch Vase for $3!

In addition to this incredible savings, I will show you how to blend the bold colors of Coral and Navy blue into a soft palette using shades of of cream and greenery!

Ok, let’s get started! For video instructions, please check out the video tutorial below!

How To Make Coral and Navy Blue Wedding Centerpieces with $3 Dollar Tree Vase Hack

Directions:

STEP 1: To create our $3 Dollar Tree Wedding Vase we will be using 2 Flared Pilsner Glasses, 1 Round Glass Floral Bowl, and our trusty E6000 Industrial Strength Glue.  It’s best to assemble this vase in 2 parts.  First turn one of your Pilsner Glasses upside down on the table, and then spread the E6000 Glue liberally on the bottom of the glass. Place the glass bowl on top and then place some sort of weight. A large book is a great weight to use. My go to is a dictionary. Now allow it to dry for 45 minutes to an hour.  Next apply glue to the rim of the glass bowl and place the second pilsner glass on top.  Hold it in place for about 2 minutes before placing your weight on top. Allow another 45 minutes to an hour for it to dry.   Voila!  You have created a gorgeous wedding vase for pennies on the dollar!

Attach the 8 inch Styrofoam Ball to the Vase Rim

STEP 2: Now that our Vase is ready to go we are going to attach an 8 inch Styrofoam Ball to the rim of the Vase using hot glue.

Helpful Tip!  I always keep the left over stems from floral bushes.  They come in handy when I want to switch out shorter stems for longer ones!  Keep those leftovers, reuse, reuse, reuse!

Add Your Flowers

STEP 3:  The fun begins!  Attach 10-14 Leaf Stems, 15-20 White Hydrangea Heads, 6-7 Champagne Rose Blossoms, 6-7 Cream Rose Blossoms, 14-18 Navy Rose Blossoms, 8-10 Coral Rose Blossoms, 8-12 Mini Coral Mini Mums.  Fill in the empty spaces with Eucalyptus Stems to further soften the look.

Helpful Tip!  I always use left over leaves from floral bushels.  You will be amazed at the different colors and textures you already have available!
