How To Make a DIY Tall Cream Delight Elegant Wedding Centerpiece
Directions:
STEP 1: Let’s start by discussing the 2 options you have for the vase for this project. You can either purchase the 24 inch Trumpet Vase/Mirror vase listed in the supply list currently priced a little over $40.00. Or you can do this DIY Dollar Tree Wedding Hack I will show you to create the same vase at 18 inches for $3.
To create the $3 vase you will flip over a pilsner glass and apply E6000 to the bottom of the glass. Next attach the rhinestone rimmed round glass candle holder, being sure to first remove the rhinestone. Now apply E6000 to the rim of the round glass candle holder and attach the bottom of the second pilsner glass to the top.
Tip: Let this dry overnight!
Paint the Calla Lilies
STEP 2: Spray paint the stems of the calla lilies silver. Then take the silver acrylic paint to paint the top of the calla lily stems so that it blends all the way through and you don’t see the green on the stems. If a little bit of green still shows, it is no biggie.
STEP 3: Make an indention on the underside of the 8 inch styrofoam ball. Attach 2 to 3 hydrangea blossoms and one of the cherry blossom stems in the center of the indented area. Apply high heat hot glue to the rim of the vase and then attach the 8 inch styrofoam ball with the flowers facing downside in the vase.
THE FINAL STEPS!
STEP 4: Attach 10-12 small hydrangea heads, 12-14 calla lilies, 18-24 hydrangeas, and 8-12 cherry blossom stems to the styrofoam ball.
