DIY $1 Margarita Glass Dollar Tree Golden Garden Wedding Centerpiece

Golden Garden Wedding Centerpiece

A GENUIS WAY TO USE A $1 MARGARITA GLASS TO MAKE A GOLDEN GARDEN WEDDING CENTERPIECE

This week I am going to make this lovely Golden Garden Wedding Centerpiece with a $1 Dollar Tree Margarita Glass.

Yep you read that right.

A margarita glass is the base for this beauty!

Many of you have seen me illustrate this simple wedding hack before using a $1 Margarita Glass. However, I did something a little different with today’s project by using a can of gold spray paint.

Saving money for brides without compromising style is my ultimate goal when I complete a wedding décor project request. And I am happy to state this wedding centerpiece was created on a budget for just $20.60.

Well what are we waiting on, let’s get started!

How To Make a Golden Garden Wedding Centerpiece Using a $1 Margarita Glass

Directions:

STEP 1: For this project we will be using a 13.5 oz Yucatan margarita glass that I picked up from my local Dollar Tree for just a $1. Place the rim of the glass onto your Styrofoam disk and press down to make an indention.  Use your foam cutters to trim off the excess so that the remaining disc fits snuggly into your glass.  Spray paint the glass with Krylon gold foil paint. Allow to dry for 30 minutes to an hour.

Helpful Tip!  For that professional look apply two light coats allowing  a 30 minute drying time in between coats.  Yes, it takes a little more time but the outcome is totally worth it!

Add the Flowers

STEP 2: Attach 6-8 Small Hydrangea heads, 6-8 Mint Velvet Eucalyptus Stems,  6-8 Miss PlanIt White Roses.

Final Step! Attach Queen Ann Lace Bush Stems for your desired look, and there you have it. A beautiful wedding centerpiece for $20!

Closing Remarks: I love  showing y’all how beauty is not determined by price.  This wedding centerpiece utilizes a $1 Margarita Glass Dollar Tree find for a million dollar look.  Well you know what we say at MissPlanIt, when every penny counts, count on MissPlanIt.  See you next week!
