LEARN HOW TO MAKE A GORGEOUS SOMETHING BLUE CASCADING WEDDING BOUQUET USING $1 BLUE HYDRANGEAS FOUND AT YOUR LOCAL DOLLAR TREE
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!
We are honoring this timeless wedding tradition with a Something Blue Cascading Wedding Bouquet that was inspired by a previous cascading bouquet I created that you can check out here.
Today you will learn to create a beautiful wedding bouquet on a budget by adding flowers from your local Dollar Store.
Yes, I found $1 blue hydrangeas at the Dollar Tree.
If you have not checked out their flowers yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. I know you may be afraid your bridal bouquet will look “cheap,” but one of the things I always do is mix in cheaper Dollar Store flowers with more expensive real looking flowers such as our Miss PlanIt Flowers.
Now don’t get me wrong sometimes Dollar Tree has flowers that look like real flowers but other times they don’t. That is when you use my flower wedding hack I mentioned above.
Okay so let’s get started creating this DIY beautiful Something Blue Cascading Bridal Bouquet. You won’t believe how easy it is to make!

How To Make a Something Blue Wedding Bouquet Using $1 Hydrangeas
Directions:
STEP 1: The base for this project is a straight handle bouquet holder, an 8 inch tulle bouquet collar and an 8inch half Styrofoam ball. You will need to remove the center section out of the half ball to fit the handle into. Attach the tulle collar and bouquet handle with hot glue.
Create Jeweled Flowers
STEP 3: To create these jeweled flowers, simply attach 4-5 silver rose leaf picks to a rhinestone pick by twisting the wires together. Then fan out the leaves. Create the rhinestone buckle flower by attaching it to an 18 gauge floral wire stem then repeat the leaf attachment step, fanning them out to create a custom glam touch!
