DIY Tall Glam Gold Tropical Wedding Centerpiece

Tropical Wedding Centerpiece

A DIY TROPICAL WEDDING CENTERPIECE THAT WILL TRANSFORM YOUR WEDDING INTO AN ABSOLUTE PARADISE.

Creating a tropical wedding centerpiece for your tropical themed wedding does not have to be difficult. In this week’s tutorial, I will show you how to bring paradise to any venue or space using a gold geometric frame, leaves, and flowers. Typically, I make my own frames, but for today’s tutorial I found an already made one that was absolutely perfect from our friends at Efavormart. I was able to purchase 2 of these gorgeous frames for about $15 each totaling $30. This is a great tip for you as well, just because you are DIY’ing your own wedding décor doesn’t mean you have to DIY every single thing. Sometimes buying already constructed items can save you so much time and money. Alrighty, so let’s get started!

How To Make a Tall Glam Gold Tropical Wedding Centerpiece

Directions:

STEP 1: Construct the gold geometric centerpiece frame as directed. It was pretty simple and took about 10 minutes to put together.

Cut rectangular foam to fit frame

STEP 2: Next, cut a rectangular shape to fit the rim of your frame, approximately 8.5 inches by 9.5 inches.  Be sure to measure for product variation.  Place styrofoam rectangle in the opening. The fit should be snug.  Add hot glue to the rim for additional hold.

Add leaves and flowers

STEP 3: Attach 6-8 Fern Leaves, 6-8 Areca Palm Leaves, 6-8 Rounded Leaf Bush Stems, 2-3 Orchid Stems and 4-6 Orchid Blossoms.

Final Step!   Fill in any empty spaces with Mini Leaf Bush Stems.  This centerpiece can frame your alter and be transported to transform your reception!

Final Step! Fill in any empty spaces with Mini Leaf Bush Stems.  This centerpiece can frame your wedding altar and then transported to transform your reception!

Closing Remarks: I must admit, the pre-fab frame was a cost effective time saver. This tropical wedding centerpiece is STUNNING and definitely makes a statement. I can assure you to have a designer create this look would run you several hundred dollars apiece.
