How To Make a DIY Tall Romantic Rose Blush and Burgundy Wedding Centerpiece

Directions:

STEP 1: Press the foam ball on the rim of the 16 inch pilsner glass vase to make an indention. Next attach 3 cream hydrangeas to the foam ball. Apply hot glue to the rim of the vase and then attach the foam ball with the hydrangeas on the inside of the vase.

Change the Rose Stem Lengths

STEP 2: Next, I am going to show you how to create rose stems at any length you want. For starters, I always save stems from bouquets I have purchased to reuse if needed. The stems I am reusing are from Dollar Tree flower bouquets. Simply, remove the current stems you have on your roses and replace them with longer stems. [See Video]

Layer the Flowers and Greenery

STEP 3: To create the fullness needed for this wedding centerpiece, you will have to layer the flowers and greenery. Begin by layering the leaves. Attach 5-7 boxwood leaf stems of various lengths and 16-20 smilax leaf stems at various lengths to the foam ball. Next layer the flowers. Attach 8-10 small hydrangea head blossoms, 4-6 large hydrangea heads, 8-10 blush rose blossoms, 8-10 burgundy rose blossoms, and 8-10 ivory gypsophila stems to the foam ball. Fill in the empty spaces with blush tea roses.
