How To Make a DIY Vintage Lantern Birdcage Wedding Centerpiece
Directions:
STEP 1: Take the 4 foot moss tablerunner and turn it over. Place the 10 inch foam disc and small part of the green foam pot insert on the backside of the moss table runner. Trace around both foam pieces and then cut out the two patterns. Hot glue the moss to the 10 inch foam disc and the foam pot insert.
Add Moss to the Foam Sides
STEP 2: It is now time to add moss to the sides of the foam. Measure the side of the 10 inch foam disc with a ruler and mark it on the foam moss. Cut the measured area and hot glue it to the sides of the foam disc. Now measure the moss so that it fits around the entire foam cube. Cut the moss and hot glue it around the cube. Also cover half of the side of the foam pot insert using the moss tablerunner and hot glue to adhere it. Attach the foam cube and foam pot insert onto the 10 inch foam disc using floral pins.
Paint Parts of the Birdcages with Gold Acrylic Paint
STEP 3: Apply acrylic gold paint to the leaves on one of the birdcages, and to the top and bottom of the other two birdcages. Now attach one of the birdcages to the foam pot insert and then the second foam birdcage to the foam disc. The third birdcage will be attached to the foam cube after all the flowers are placed.
Add Flowers to the Foam Cube
STEP 4: Attach 8-12 burgundy hydrangea blossoms, 4-6 navy hydrangea blossoms, 2-3 navy rose blossoms and 3-5 blush cherry blossoms to the foam cube. Now attach the birdcage.
THE FINAL STEPS!
STEP 5: Attach 4-6 burgundy hydrangea blossoms, 2-4 navy hydrangea blossoms, 1-2 navy roses, and 2-4 blush cherry blossoms to the foam pot insert. Lastly, add the LED candles to the birdcages.
