How to Make This Easy Pretty Peacock Bridal Bouquet!
STEP 1:
All of our Projects start with a strong base. We are going to use a Straight Handle Bouquet Holder and a Styrofoam Cone to create the base for this bridal bouquet. Trim down the styrofoam on both ends until it fits snuggly in the holder cage. Add a little hot glue to the rim of each piece of the cage before snapping the 2 pieces together.
You Can Never Go Wrong With a Little Bling!
STEP 2:
Don’t forget your handle! Let’s add a little bling! First attach your Bouquet Collar. Then we will wrap the handle with Navy Blue Satin Ribbon , adding a dab of hot glue ever so often for added hold. Next, cut Gem Ribbon so that it covers the ribbon and attach with hot glue.
Attach Your Calla Lillies In a Fan Pattern
STEP 3:
Using a small wooden dowel or a toothpick preset Calla Lily wholes. Cut stems 3-5 inches long depending on your personal preference. The stem length will determine how wide your bouquet will be. Once you are satisfied with the Calla Lily placement add a touch of hot glue to the end of the stem and place it back into the whole. The hot glue will provide more stability to the bouquet.
Roses and More Roses!
STEP 4:
Next, attach 6-8 Blue Rose Blossoms and 4-6 Purple Rose Blossoms in between the Calla Lillies. Again, add a dab of hot glue to the end of the stem for extra hold before attaching it to the styrofoam.
The Final Step!
STEP 5:
Our final step is to attach our Gem Brooch Picks which we made using Floral Wire and hot glue. Now for the piece de resistance! Attach as many Peacock Feathers as your heart desires! Remember to add a dab of hot glue to the end before placement in your bouquet.
