How to Make a Tall Gold Rush Elegant Wedding Centerpiece
Directions:
STEP 1: Measure the 6 inch tulle against the 9 inch vase by centering it. Remove the tulle and then apply 6 adhesive dots to the 9 inch vase. Attach the tulle to the dots and cut off any excess tulle. Repeat this step with the tulle to the two 7 inch vases. Attach the 9 inch vase to the 4 inch glass candleholder using E6000.
Embellish the tealights with flowers
STEP 2: Turn one of the tealight candleholders over and place it on the 4 inch foam disc. Press the tealight against the foam to make an indention. Remove the indented area which is now a circle. Place the circle foam inside the tealight. Attach 4 small hydrangea heads and 2 tea roses in the circle foam. Repeat this step with the other tealight candleholder.
STEP 3: Place the 12 inch foam disc on top of the 12″ X 12″ gold solid glitter paper. Trace around the disc with a pencil or pen and then move the paper aside.
STEP 4: Stack the two twelve inch discs one on top of the other. Insert six extra long toothpicks through the discs spaced evenly apart. Now that all the toothpicks are in place, trim off the top with wire cutters. I recommend wearing safety goggles during this step.
Attach the Gold Paper to the 12 inch Foam Disc
STEP 5: Cut another one of the 12″ X 12″ gold papers into 2 inch strips for the edge of the 12 inch foam disc. Spread elmers glue evenly on the 12 inch strips and then place them around the edge of the twelve inch discs. Hold the strips in place to ensure they are adhered to the foam. Cut out the traced circle from Step 3, apply elmer’s glue and place it on top.
