How to Make a Feather Centerpiece
Directions:
STEP 1:Make a stencil of 3 different circles for feather placement on your foam disc. The first circle stencil will be 3 1/2 inches in diameter, the second circle stencil 2 1/2 inches in diameter and the third stencil 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Now trace each one on your foam disc.
STEP 2: Now it’s time to trim down the stem of your 8 inch ostrich feathers, trim off about 1 inch using floral wire cutters. Be sure to wear your safety glasses when completing this step. Attach 8 ostrich feathers to the center circle on your foam disc with hot glue.
STEP 3:Next attach 10-14 4 inch fluff feathers to your second circle. Then attach 4-6 6 inch feathers to your third circle. Now attach 6-8 roses, 4 large hydrangea heads, and 10-14 small hydrangea heads to the rim of your foam disc. Attach your foam disc to your 20 inch trumpet vase using hot glue.
