This week we put together a beautiful Sweets and Treats wedding table for our community member Candace! A classic tuxedo was the inspiration behind this inexpensive yet elegant design!

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:

4-Smooth Glass Hurricane Candleholders, 4″
2-Glass Cylinder Vases, 7.25 in
2-2 inch Black Satin Ribbon
2-1 1/2 Inch Cream Satin Ribbon
1-Set of 3 – Wedding Candy Buffet Containers
1-Bride & Groom Wedding Favor Boxes, 10-ct. Packs
6-Antique Starburst Rhinestone Brooch
6-Crystal Buckle Slides
4-Double Diamante Circle Buckle Slide
1-Rhinestone Trim

Directions

Let’s Get Started:

  1. Create your 1 piece vase by gluing the Smooth Glass Hurricane Candleholders, 4″ to the Glass Cylinder Vases, 7.25in with your E6000 glue. Sit the Cylinder Vase on top on the Hurricane Candleholder. Let it sit for about 1 to 2 hours.
  1. Cut two 12in. strips from your black 1½in ribbon, 1 strip from your cream 1 ½in ribbon and 2 strips of rhinestone trim.
  1. Loop 1 strip of the black ribbon through the rhinestone buckle until centered, wrap the ribbon with attached buckle to the base at the seam of the connected vase. Glue with E6000.
  1. Now that the base is decorated, glue the 1 strip of black ribbon to the top of the vase with E6000. Turn vase to make sure the top seam and bottom seam ribbon line up.
  1. Take your cream colored ribbon, pin rhinestone brooch to the middle of the ribbon, turn your ribbon over, add your E6000 glue, wrap ribbon around the vase, glue with E6000. Let dry for 1 to 2 minutes, trim off ribbon frays if needed.
  1. Measure rhinestone trim. Glue trim and rhinestone embellishments with E6000 and connect to additional containers.
  1. Complete steps 1-6 to remaining containers.
