SUPPLY LIST:
8 Inch Candlestick
8 Inch Foam Disc
Foam Hat
Gem Trim
Gold Trim
Black Feathers
Glitter Mask
Brooch
Feather Ornament
Mod Podge
Glitter
Floral Wire
Directions:
STEP 1: First we will create our stand for our masquerade centerpiece by taking the top of our candle holder placing it on the foam disc and tracing around it with our sharpie.
STEP 2: Apply Mod Podge to the outer circle, now sprinkle gold glitter to this area. Allow this to dry for 1 to 2 hours before you proceed with the next step. Repeat this step to your candle stick and allow this to dry for 2 hours. Now spray both pieces with acrylic spray paint.
STEP 3: Attach your foam disc to your candle stick using hot glue, now hot glue another foam disc on the inside of your foam hat to give it more stability.
STEP 4: Measure your gem trim around your foam hat, cut and then attach without glue, then layer your gold ribbon on top of your gem trim adhering with hot glue.
STEP 5: Use a floral pin to make your hole on your foam hat, then insert your floral wire in the holes you made. Decide the height you would like your floral wire to be and then trim the excess.
STEP 6: Fold the wire down on the inner part of your foam hat. Now attach your brooch, feather, and mask to your floral wire using hot glue.
STEP 7: Attach your black feathers to your gold mask using hot glue and any other areas on your foam hat that have exposed floral wire. Lastly, hot glue your foam hat to your stand.
THE FINAL STEP
