DIY Purple Passion Wedding Centerpiece in 3 Easy Steps

It can sometimes be challenging when you are completing DIY wedding projects. The balance between saving money and aesthetics can create a stumbling block for that soon-to-be bride. However, this week’s project creates that perfect balance. The beautiful purple flowers and floral bowls give you a beautiful look at a fraction of the cost!

How to Make DIY Purple Wedding Centerpieces

Directions:

STEP 1: Insert 4-6 roses inside each of your floral bowls. Apply E6000 to your Roman Urn Vase, then attach 1 of your floral bowls to your vase. Attach your remaining floral bowls, sitting one on top of the other.

STEP 2: Apply hot glue to the rim of your vase and attach your 8 inch foam ball. Now attach three 12-inch gem strands with flower pins.

STEP 3: Attach 6-8 bushels of dahlias, 8-12 roses, 6-8 real touch latex roses, and 6-8 rose buds.

THE FINAL STEP

  1. I came across this looking for my reception decorations and its Georgeous!!! I was wondering what flowers I could use for my theme. Our colors are Mint green and yellow. I have roses ans rose buds in yellow and white but I want your opinion. Where can I post a pic of my vase?

  2. I love this centerpiece and i am trying to duplicate it. Do i have to do anything special to the Styrofoam ball before adhering it to the glass bowl? It looks like you cut the bottom.

    1. Hello, the only thing you would need to do is make an indention in the bottom of the foam ball. Cut out a little of the foam, about 1/4 of an inch. Then add hot glue to the rim of the floral bowl and then attach the foam ball. Let me know how it turns out!
