3 Royal Blue Wedding or Quincenera Centerpiece Ideas for Under $10

This week I was challenged to create a royal blue centerpiece for $10 for an upcoming Quincenera. I am happy to say I met the challenge! Because not only did I create one centerpiece at $10 but I also created 2 additional centerpiece options for under $10. Embellished with luscious royal blue flowers, shimmery glitter and gem ribbon, these budget-friendly centerpiece ideas are truly as I like to say bluetiful. Not only can this be used for a Quincenera but this is also a great option for any wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, or any other event. So gather your supplies together and let’s get started!

BUT WAIT!

Before we get started I want to share an awesome tip on how you can earn cash back with your online purchases for all the items you will need to complete this project!

As our saying goes “When Every Penny Counts, Count on Miss PlanIt.” Furthermore, we love to save money and get great deals. Prior to us purchasing anything online, we check out Ebates, find the store, click the current deal for that store and complete our purchase.

If you have never used Ebates, you are MISSING OUT. So for this project, you would go to Ebates.com, sign up, and then type in the store you plan to purchase from.

Consequently, when completing a purchase through Ebates you earn cash back that you can have mailed to you or sent via PayPal. Be sure to check it out! Click here to sign up for Ebates, and RIGHT NOW when you sign up, you will receive a $10 cash welcome bonus when you spend $25.00!

How To Make Royal Blue Centerpieces

Directions:

STEP 1: The first of our 3 projects is this lovely boxed flower centerpiece. First measure out your plastic gem ribbon and wrap it around the foam block. Then attach the gem ribbon to the flower centerpiece with floral pins.

STEP 2: Next you will attach 12-14 two different colored royal blue flowers to the top of your foam block.

Glam up your Dollar Tree candle

STEP 3: Let’s glam up this Dollar Tree Candle for under $6. Paint on a thin layer of mod podge to the bottom third of the candle. Then sprinkle your glitter on your candle. Allow 30 minutes to an hour for the glitter to dry. Measure your gem garland around the top of your candle, attaching it with a floral pin.

Sprinkle glitter on your jardin vase

STEP 4: Finally the star of our centerpiece idea, our vase. Start by painting on mod podge to your jardin vase and then sprinkle on the glitter. Also allow it to dry for 1 to 2 hours. Next add your gem ribbon to the neck of the vase using hot glue to adhere it.

TIP: If you want the color of the glitter to be more pronounced, after it dries, apply another layer of mod podge and sprinkle on your glitter. Complete this step as much as you need to get your desired look!

STEP 5: Take your 5 inch foam ball and push it down slightly on the rim of your vase to make an indention on your foam ball because this will help keep your foam ball in place. Add hot glue to the indented area and attach it to the rim of your vase. Allow it to dry for 15 minutes before adding your flowers.

Add royal blue flowers to your foam ball

STEP 6: Your foam ball is now dry! Lastly, attach 2-3 dozen of your different colored royal blue roses to your 5 inch foam ball.

THE FINAL STEP!

STEP 7: Put it all together and set the table!

I absolutely love how this Royal Blue Centerpiece turned out! The outcome is amazing and will definitely add that extra special touch to any event!
