How To Make a Tall Beaded Waterfall DIY Centerpiece
Directions:
STEP 1: To create the base, use your wooden dowel to punch a hole in the center of your 4 inch and 6 inch discs. Now make a 1 inch indention in your foam cube. Lastly, wrap your wooden dowel with your silver ribbon, adding hot glue every 2 to 3 inches to secure the ribbon.
Add a little bit of hot glue to the indention in your foam cube. Insert the wooden dowel in your indention. Hold your wooden dowel in place for about 1 to 2 minutes to make sure it is level.
STEP 2: Next add your 4 inch foam disc to your wooden dowel, stopping about 5 inches above your cube. Add a little bit of hot glue to the inside of your 4 inch foam disc and hold it in place for about 1 minute.
It’s Time To Add Your 6 Inch Foam Disc
STEP 3: Attach your 6 inch foam disc to the top of your wooden dowel, be sure to leave a 1 to 2 inch space above your 6 inch disc to have a space to attach your foam ball and also 12 to 14 inches from your 4 inch disc.
STEP 4: Apply hot glue to the very top of your wooden dowel, then add your foam ball pushing it down so it is flush against your 6 inch disc.
Hot Glue Your 5 Inch Square Mirrors To Your Foam Cube
STEP 5: Attach your 5 inch square mirrors to each side of your foam cube using hot glue, hold each mirror in place to be sure they adhere to the foam cube. Now hot glue your silver ribbon trim to the rim of your 4 inch foam disc.
STEP 6: Cut your beaded silver trim into 16 inch long sections and connect each strand to your 6 inch foam disc with floral disc. Place floral pins right next to each other which will create equal spacing. Wrap your 6 inch foam disc with your silver ribbon and use hot glue to adhere your ribbon.
Create a Dramatic Draping Effect
STEP 7: To create that draping effect, attach your beaded trim on the underside of your 4 inch foam disc using floral pins to secure your trim. Clip the excess floral pin with your wire cutters. Be sure to wear your safety goggles when completing this step.
STEP 8: Add 8-10 mini peonies to your 4 inch foam disc. Then even out the bottom of your beaded trim with scissors. Now attach 16-20 mini peonies to your foam cube.
STEP 9: For the last step, attach 6-8 dozen rose buds to your foam ball.
THE FINAL STEP!
STEP 10: Set the table
I absolutely love how this Tall Beaded Centerpiece turned out! The outcome is amazing and will definitely add that extra special touch to any event!
