Tall Orchid Wedding Centerpiece

Most times, soon to be brides know what they want for their wedding. They find the perfect wedding centerpiece inspiration picture and fall in love. The “how to” is the big question, especially for the DIY Bride. This was the case with Chinwe, she knew what she wanted but just didn’t know quite how to put it all together. Chinwe reached out to us and we were more than happy to help. This week we are honored to help Chinwe recreate her dream wedding reception centerpiece!

Votive Holders:
Votives
Rose Stencil

Centerpiece:
Vase
Gloss Black Spray Paint
8 inch Foam Ball
Purple Roses
Butterfly Orchid
Orchid
Wisteria
Pink Roses
Hydrangea
Greenery

Directions:

STEP 1: Spray your vase about 2 to 3 feet away with black spray paint. This will give you a frosted look.

STEP 2: Add hot glue to the rim of your vase and attach your 8 inch foam ball.

QUICK TIP: Votive Holders

STEP 3: Take your rose stencil and attach to your votive with painter’s tape. Now apply paint on the rose stencil.

STEP 4: Attach 8-10 small cream hydrangea heads, 2 butterfly orchid stems to your foam ball. To create a cascading effect, add 15-20 wisteria stems, adding longer stems at the bottom and the shorter stems at the top. Attach 12-16 pink orchid blossoms.

QUICK TIP: Gold Tip Flowers

STEP 5: To enhance your centerpiece, add your gold paint to the tips of your purple rose. Follow this step to 10-14 additional purple roses and attach to your foam ball.

STEP 6: Now attach 6-10 pink roses to your 8 inch foam ball. Add your LED tea lights to your votive holders.

STEP 7: Set the table!
