Dollar Tree Inspired: 8 Foot Wedding Ceremony Arch on a Budget

Wedding Arch

Creating a wedding ceremony arch on a budget can be a difficult task. The cost of flowers and the actual wedding ceremony arch are expensive. To acheive this look, I opted to use Dollar Tree Flowers. Contrary to what many may think, Dollar Tree flowers are a great option for your wedding decor. They do not look cheap and they are only $1! Another thing to consider when DIYing your wedding ceremony arch, is to determine if you will rent the wedding arch or buy your wedding arch. Definitely do some research to see what will be the cheapest route. So let’s get started. For video instructions, please check out the video tutorial below!

BUT WAIT!

Before we get started I want to share an awesome tip on how you can earn cash back with your online purchases for all the items you will need to complete this project!

How To Make an 8 Foot Wedding Ceremony Arch on a Budget

Directions:

STEP 1: Attach the garland to your 8 foot arch using garland ties. After you have attached it all the way around, attach the boxwood leaf garland to the front.

Create Your Hydrangea Bouquets

STEP 2: Next, create hydrangea bouquets by attaching three hydrangea heads together with floral wire. Create about 6-8 of these hydrangea bouquets and attach them to your arach with garland ties.

Now Create Your Dahlia Bouquets

STEP 3: The next step is to create dahlia bouquets by repeating the same simple steps from Step 2. Bunch the dahlia stems at the end and tie the stems about an inch or 2 below the blossoms with floral wire. Trim off the excess stems. Attach 12-16 dahlia bouquets to your arch with garland ties.

THE FINAL STEP: Finish Off Your Wedding Ceremony Arch With Peony Blossoms

STEP 4: Lastly, attach 24-36 large peonies blossoms to your arch with garland ties.

I absolutely love how this DIY Wedding Ceremony Arch turned out! The outcome is amazing and will definitely add that extra special touch to any wedding!
